Louise created these intricate and novel interpretations with the help of friend, and album engineer, John Ellis.

Baby is Born, Alleluia:
The music and lyrics for this beautiful Christmas lullaby were written for one of Louise’s Musicals, The Magical Voices of Christmas, which was performed in Victoria, British Columbia in 1995 and Honolulu, Hawaii in 1996. The musical was co-written by good friend and performing arts teacher, Gini Foley. The photo of Louise on the beach, taken by Gini in 2002, captures the same spot where, in August of 1995, they both sat in their bathing suits and began writing a Christmas musical for Gini’s students. Louise and Ginny performed their musical that Christmas, and in 1996 took students to Hawaii to perform this entertaining and thought-provoking Canadian family musical.
